Hi, thank you and welcome to my website. My name is Alamin Sarker, and I am a prospective PhD student passionate about Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. I am currently pursuing my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University, with a CGPA of 3.78/4.00.
My research focuses on addressing the unique challenges of low-resource language processing, particularly for Bangla NLP. I am currently working on Bangla Entity Linking in low-resource and noisy text settings, where I investigate annotation ambiguity, representation choices, and their impact on entity disambiguation. My work emphasizes methodological design over purely architectural scaling, aiming to develop data-efficient and resource-aware learning approaches.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I work as a Software Engineer at Technometrics Limited, where I develop scalable systems integrating NLP-based sentiment analysis and topic modeling. This practical experience complements my research, providing me with valuable insights into real-world applications of machine learning and natural language processing.
